2021 Fellow Applications Now Open – Become a Fellow of the ACS

As President of the North Carolina Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (NC-ACS), and Chair of the NC-ACS Membership Committee, we would like to encourage you to take the next important step in your surgical career, if you meet the membership requirements, and apply to become a Fellow of the ACS (FACS) by the December 1st deadline. Applications received by December 1st will be considered for conferral of Fellowship at the 2021 ACS Clinical Congress in Washington, DC.

Applying is easy, and as an Associate Fellow, the application fee will be waived. If you do not meet the requirements this year, please be aware that you may apply in subsequent years prior to December 1st of each year.

We would also like to take this opportunity to encourage you to get engaged with the NC-ACS if you are not already. Our chapter works closely with the ACS to offer timely COVID-19 updates, the opportunity to network with surgical peers locally, to participate in advocacy activities at the state and federal levels, take on leadership roles, and to conveniently attend educational meetings with CME – just a few of the member benefits.

If you have any questions about the benefits of Fellowship or the chapter, please do not hesitate to contact us at ranjan.sudan@duke.edu and redhoffman@gmail.com.

Take this opportunity to become a Fellow and add the FACS designation to your credentials.

Best regards,
